I almost missed it! But I'm determined to post today! Hopefully we'll have more posts this week. I think that we seriously need to find a replacement for Sarah and probably Marwa too. I don't know where to look though. Is YourPants still down?
My life seems so much slower than both of yours right now, what with Stephanie starting University in a new city and Alda moving to freakin' Germany in a couple of weeks.
Yesterday I got a calligraphy pen. I got a gift certificate for the pen from my boss from my summer internship. I was planning on using my certificate on Thursday when I went downtown for the ribbon cutting of a new parking garage, but the store was moving to a new city and the day I found out was their last day! Luckily the store was locally owned and I was able to call the owner to set up an appointment to buy the pen. I love good service! ^_^
I got three new CDs today from a closing Borders (a large bookstore chain). And they were dirt cheap because my friend had a gift certificate and she paid for most of it (I bought her sweets to make up for it). One of them is a jazz version of Disney songs. The version of "Chim Chim Cher-ee" is hypnotic and "Gaston" is crazy!
Now, one thing about me is that I grew up listening to jazz, and it is because of that that I have never liked it. A lot of my dislike for jazz has to do with association to bitter sibling rivalry, but I care not at all. Sometimes I really do like jazz songs and it's always difficult for me to admit it. So I won't say that I like my new CD, but it's not exactly terrible. ;)
BTW Stephanie, have you found an apartment yet?
